Reports
On the Reports page you have all analyses of your wealth in one place, from the wealth overview to the financial disclosure for banks.
Overview
The Reports menu item consists of three areas:
- A list of eight predefined report types at the top of the page. One click is enough and the report loads with your current data.
- The Report Builder, which you use to put together an individual report from exactly the entities, assets, bank accounts and properties you are interested in.
- A toolbar above the report preview for refreshing, saving, printing, exporting as PDF and subscribing, plus a PDF archive with your most recently generated PDFs.
The eight report types
| Report | Content |
|---|---|
| Wealth overview | Total wealth, asset allocation, breakdown by entity |
| Performance | Change in value, best and worst positions, return per category |
| Entity report | Detailed overview of a single person or company |
| Real estate report | Properties, units, rents, loans, land charge, return |
| Bank overview | Accounts and credit lines per institution, loans |
| Investment overview | Structure, shares and values of all investments |
| Financial disclosure | Assets, liabilities, income (12 months), intended as a supporting document for banks |
| Liquidity report | Balance history, base load, due dates (base + secured) |
There is nothing extra to load or confirm: every click on a tile shows the report immediately with your current data.
Opening a report
- Open Reports in the left-hand navigation.
- At the top, click one of the eight report types, e.g. Wealth overview.
- Scroll through the report. All key figures, tables and charts are displayed directly on the page.
- In the Entity report, click the name at the top to switch to another person or company.
- Use Refresh to reload the report with the latest data.
- Use Save, Print / PDF, Generate PDF or Subscribe to keep the report permanently (see below).
Putting together your own report (Report Builder)
Click Report Builder at the top. A four-step wizard guides you through:
- Entities: which people and companies should be included?
- Assets: which categories and individual positions (real estate, securities accounts, vehicles, art …) should appear?
- Bank accounts: which accounts should be listed?
- Real estate: which properties, including units, rents and financing, should be shown in detail?
At the end, a summary (number of entities, assets, bank accounts, net worth) shows you everything at a glance. Use Generate report to create the report. It then appears as a separate “Individual report” tile in the list of reports and can be saved, printed or exported in the same way as the predefined reports.
You can create as many individual reports as you like. Each new run of the Report Builder creates another one without overwriting existing ones.
Saving, printing and exporting
Above the report preview you will find these actions (not every report type shows all buttons):
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Refresh | Reloads the report with the current data |
| Save | Saves the report in its current state |
| Print / PDF | Opens the browser’s print dialogue, which also lets you save the report as a PDF |
| Generate PDF | Creates a PDF and stores it in the PDF archive |
| Subscribe | Sets up regular delivery of a download link to this report by email |
You will find the finished PDF in the PDF archive at the top right and can download it there at any time via Download.
“Generate PDF” opens the PDF in a new browser tab instead of downloading it automatically. Save it there via your browser or download it afterwards from the PDF archive.
Reporting date: The reporting date of a report is always the current date and cannot be changed manually. If you need a report for a specific reporting date, generate it on that day and archive it as a PDF.
Frequently asked questions
How long do my generated PDFs remain in the PDF archive?
Older PDFs are removed from the archive automatically. This is not a problem, as any report can be created again at any time via Generate PDF.
Can I combine several people or companies in one report?
Yes, that is what the Report Builder is for. In the first step you choose as many entities as you like, which then appear together in the individual report.
What happens when I click “Subscribe”?
This sets up a recurring email with a download link to this report instead of generating it manually each time.
Does every report type support all actions?
No. Some report types, such as the entity report, only show Refresh, Save and Print / PDF. Which buttons are available depends on the respective report type.
