Documents

In the Documents area you have all uploaded documents in your account in one central place: searchable, filterable and automatically evaluated by Smart Analysis.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Documents menu item in the sidebar.
  2. Use the File name or Content switches to choose what the search bar should search.
  3. If required, narrow down the list using the three drop-downs: Group (e.g. “Contracts”, “Finance”, “Real estate”), Category (e.g. “Valuation report / appraisal”, “Securities account statement”, “Land register extract”) and Entity (the person or company to which the document is assigned).
  4. Reset a filter via All groups, All categories or All entities to see the full list again.

You can combine all three filters, for example “Valuation report / appraisal” and a specific entity at the same time.

Two different dates: The Date column in the table shows when the document was created in Finaure. The Date field in Smart Analysis shows the date recognised in the document’s content, e.g. the valuation date of an appraisal. Where the date referred to in the content matters, the date from Smart Analysis applies.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between searching by “File name” and “Content”?

“File name” searches only the name of the uploaded file. “Content” searches the full text of the document as recognised by Finaure. This means you can find a document even if you only remember a term in the text.

Can I use several filters at the same time?

Yes. Group, category and entity can be combined as you wish.

What does the confidence value in Smart Analysis mean?

It indicates how certain the automatic analysis is about the recognised details (title, category, date, tags). A high value means that the details have very probably been extracted correctly from the document.

What is the “Confidential” option for?

It lets you mark a document as particularly sensitive. Check within your organisation which visibility and approval rules apply to confidential documents.
