Structure overview

The structure overview shows you at a glance how the people and companies in an account are connected to one another, as a family relationship or as a shareholding.

You will find it in the main menu under Structure overview.

What you see here

People (e.g. Andreas Lowe) and companies (e.g. Lowe Consulting GmbH) appear as cards in a diagram. Lines between the cards show the relationship: married, child of or shareholder.

Company (e.g. GmbH)Lowe Consulting GmbHShareholder

At the top left you switch between two perspectives: Family structure (family relationships) and Ownership structure (shareholdings). Depending on the perspective, the sub-views change: “Tax allowances” is only available in the family structure, “Co-ownership” and “Loans” only in the ownership structure.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Structure overview in the main menu.
  2. The view starts in the Family structure with “All entities”. You see all people and their family connections.
  3. If you want to highlight particular people, change the drop-down from “All entities” to “Selection”.
  4. Click one or more people to mark them as the starting point.
  5. Use fit view at the bottom right to centre the diagram again.

Selection is not a filter: If you choose a single person or company in the “Selection” drop-down, the entire connected network (e.g. the whole family) remains visible. The selected entity is only highlighted as the starting point.

If a shareholding connection shows “n/a” instead of a percentage, no share has been entered for this investment yet. Add it in the Investments area.

Amounts are displayed in German number format, e.g. 138.000,00 €. The structure overview is a view only; you cannot enter values directly here.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I still see all family members under “Selection”?

The selection marks the chosen entity as the starting point but does not hide connected people. A view showing a single entity only is currently not available on this page.

What does “n/a” on a connection mean?

“n/a” stands for “not available”: no share has been entered for this investment yet. Add it in the Investments area.

How do I switch between the family and ownership structure?

Using the two buttons at the top left of the diagram area: Family structure and Ownership structure.

Can I print or export the structure overview?

Yes, Print at the top right creates a print-ready view of the current diagram.
